Haven't seen a truck without kingpins yet. 99.9999% chance your truck has them.

Do They make balljoints for trucks?
Truck suspensions take alot of beating.Keepforgettingmypassword Thanks this. -
The type of brake doesn't indicate what kind of suspension. Trucks have always used a straight axle and king pins. Ball joints are better, but not as tough as a king pin. Why, what's up?

But the egr cooler has taught me that the first response may not be the right response.
The wear is cupping or scalloped tires but really deep.201 Thanks this. -

If the tires aren't wearing right. You need to have the suspension checked out.
Worn kingpins. Tie rods.
Loose bearings.
Spring bushings.
Alignment.
My last company goes through steers like crazy. I guess it's cheaper to replace things then fix things so things last.ducnut and Keepforgettingmypassword Thank this. -
To have ball joints it would need independent front suspension. The only semi truck to ever have that was a GMC crackerbox( the only one I know of). It was an option that never really caught on and was pretty rare.
Vampire, Last Call, Keepforgettingmypassword and 2 others Thank this.
