I have a 2016 Cascadia with dd13. When I turn the ignition switch on the gauges don’t do the sweep, but the truck will start. After 5-30 seconds the instrument cluster will come to life and do the normal sweep. However the time the gauges come to life is getting longer. It started with a few seconds and now is about 30 seconds.
I don’t think it’s a loose wire as once the gauges are on they stay on until I shut off the truck. Never stopped working when driving and bumps have no effect on it.
Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you fixed it. I think it could be a relay so I swapped the instrument cluster relay in the fuse box, but that had no effect.
If someone can post the wiring diagram that will help a lot.

Hello I’m having same problems can you please tell me what relay fixed the problem

I don’t remember exactly which one was it. One of the smaller relays.
Get a spare one and with your ignition on replace the relays one at a time and you’ll find the right one.
If the instrument cluster goes on/off like mine was. With key on or truck running pull the relays one at a time and the one that shuts off the instruments is the one you need to replace. There is also fuse that is connected to that relay. If your instruments are off all the time it could be just the fuse.77fib77 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
