Any one ever changed the heater core in the sleeper of a Cascadia?
Smelled coolant in cab, traced it to the bunk heater. After a few more days coolant was dripping onto the fuel tank.
I have a new core, going to tackle it in morning. Looks like I have a bunch of screws to take the top off the HVAC assembly?
Or is there some other way to get at it?
Thanks

It might just be the hose and not the core. Maybe hose clamp.
PE_T and Rideandrepair Thank this. -

It was the heater core.
First I had to use a utility knife to cut out the top plastic cover. Then the core just pulled right out.
Slipped in the new one, installed new screwdown cover. Hooked up the lines, refilled. Works great now.

That was quick! Good Job!

Need to use the spring tension hose clamps, they don't need re-tightening.
