Was talking to a yard dog last night at NS 47 and he said they actually been busier this year than last year at this time. Said he working 6/12 a week and it's not even peak time yet and I thought to myself wtf maybe because they switched some destinations from 63 there but I don't see it

Well. Just walked out a dealer. Deciding between jb hunt o/o or kiswani company driver. I jus hate how all the trucks are 40-50k 2011 cascadias 500k miles. I might add the 2 yr warranty. What you guys think of cummins or should i go detroit
-
I would not go past 2007, go Detroit.

The Cummins are good motors if you stay away from the DEF. I'd buy a Cummins with the dpf and have it "fixed". Since your planning on doing intermodel and not going to CA, the 2007 Detroits are a solid buy and fairly easy to fix and the parts are cheap. (Compared to a Volvo/Mack)
