LOL. My 4x4s failed me last week. Ended up taking a chain and hooking it to a loaded chassis to pull mine apart. At our company yard they take a front end loader and lift the back as you pull forward. Ridiculous...

I didn't think it would work, but I had a long time mechanic show me that trick.

Although, thinking about it now I think you set up the rear axle first then wrap the chain around the front axle. It's been a while since I had to do it.

Wow, I've never seen so many Chassis laying around at CN Harvey until today. Take your pick LOL . I'm guessing that's the true sign of it being really slow right now?

53' or 40/20? Schneider is filling the market with their own, so there should be more trac chassis available.

Lots of everything. I believe in the Z lot area they had stacks of 53s maybe that's because of Schneider turning them in?

2 things. Does anyone know if chassis have self adjusting brakes or auto self adjusting should i say. Also, when i was at swift we did oil change every 50k. My truck is newer. Idk should i follow swift rule or is that too much? My dad does his 12k but his truck is a 04 mine a 2012. Mine has auto fuel filter. Doesnt need to be replaced so my truck self cleans itself a lot

Lol. Rail yard Chassis actually have brakes? it's like winning the lotto if you find one that they actually do work.

I would look up the manufacturer recommended oil change interval for your truck. Swift along with most Mega companies stretch the intervals as they are turning the trucks in like every 3 year's or so. They aren't concerned about long term.
