I dont know, but it's been pretty busy here at my company. Still rolling, 5 days work and all that jazz!!!!!! There hasnt been a slow period this whole year or us (in 2015) and in 2016.....

not to mention... doing hazmat, making a killin off it !!! $$$$$

have been clearing $2,300 to $3,500 since the start of the year so its safe to say around my hood, all is good with this current slow down per say...

if i did hazmat i will be a little better off but hazmat doesnt pay enough around here, i'm having trouble getting pay extra for the beer loads (in nj you must have a permit to haul alcohol even if you dont do it frequently)

Chinese New Year was early this year, I think that's part of the reason for it being slow right now. UPRR in Denver looks like a ghost town, they pulled outbound loaded trains from all 4 tracks late Friday afternoon, the zones for inbound loads were 80% empty, just bare chassis, the outbound load areas were probably 70% full, half domestic half int'l. Friday saw three WB intermodal trains on the mainline in W. Nebraska E. Wyo., two were full of cans of all types, one was probably 60 flat cars, only the first 10 and last 10 had cans, the rest were empty, only two locomotives.

As a company driver, this time of year when it gets slow, I'll have my boss adjust my withholding to 9 so I still get decent checks every week, then come June I take it back to 0 for the rest of the year, end up owing on the taxes, but at least it doesn't kill me.

Well, another storm is about to destroy the east coast. This will likely contribute to the current slow down.. smh!
