So the needle seems to have a pulse when on. And it stikl don't put out for crap. Is it like the freightliner where the driver's side is the cb antenna and the passenger side is for radio?

I dont know of any factory antenna system that has cb on the left, am/fm on the right. I think that is a common misperception. But there could be some out there.

You can narrow down where the static (noise) problem is coming from by disconnecting the coax from the radio, and see if the noise is still there. If it is, you'll know its coming in through the power leads. Which is most likely.

The mic- keying- buzz- bleed, sounds like cmc (common mode current). This is when rf is transmitted off the coax, and finds it way into all kinds of electrical circuits inside the cab. This is also common with factory systems.

I think you may know where im going...if your company allows you, first thing I would do is run a seperate antenna and coax directly to the cb. Completly bipass the factory system.

The Freghtliners WalMart bought up until 2015 had the CB on the left and the others on the right. They were even labeled that way. I'm not sure about the 2015s. They moved the antennas to the back of the sleeper and I haven't taken the time to check those out.
