    Did you try this?

Try connecting a multimeter to one of the j1939 data link pins in the data port and the other to a good ground. The reading should be infinite. Then start moving the harness and see if the meter display start jumping around. on some trucks International ran the wiring harness on the outside of the frame on the left side just behind the steering axle. The harness would wear on the left front ABS modulator valve.
Put the meter on the floor where you can see it and keep poking at the harness.

I haven’t done that yet. I have no room in my shop for the truck and it snowed here for the last 2 days. I will get to that next week when it’s above freezing here again.

One more thing, the other day I moved a trailer around my yard and as soon as I spun out on some mud the lights went off and speedometer glitched out. It seems to happen more when I speed up or slow down on the road. My cruise control works.

also my truck is deleted. I have heard of bad delete tunes messing with datalink communication but I don’t really know.. This all seem to happen when I deleted the emissions but I’m not sure, I bought the truck and deleted it before I used it. I never noticed this issue when I drove it home before the emissions delete
