    What kind of engine? Detroit DD13,DD15 or Cummins ISX 15 or X15 Series (Efficiency or Performance)?

    It's a Detroit Dd13
    No performance issue
    I brought it in to shop thought the belt was making a noise. I thought it was Alternator. Apparently egr is making noise periodically

    EGR actuators go bad sometimes. 2017 doesn't seem old enough for that though. Is it throwing any codes? Check engine light on?

    How many miles on the tractor? It might be still covered under warranty.

    if there are no codes and coolant leak there is no need to replace the egr actuator.. in DL there is a service routine about egr actutor.

    There is 220000 on it
    No codes
    Apparently its not covered unless there is a code.
    Not showing a code just periodically making some noise.

    It's been a mix up between
    Dealer and repair shop.
    No performance issues
    Just a nuisance trying to do preventive
    Maintenance.
    Still rolling down the road no issues.
