. . as shown on Passenger side is the way to do it: Remove fender cover. Unplug lamp. Run thru door wire-run grommet.Last edited: Mar 30, 2018

Power as before. Except run thru dash lower. From BATT thru floorboard, up A-pillar. Recommend across dashtop for ease. Room to clear defroster vents at windshield base.
(Remove entry plate. Lift floor cover. See taped hole in floorboard a few inches in).Last edited: Mar 30, 2018

Found I’d left my 99V2 at Clays several years ago. Had only had it a few months. Thought I’d lost during a move, after a hospitalization. A bad time.
Had him check over that KL203 would run right with it.
Great receiver.Last edited: Mar 30, 2018

On the RigExpert, SWR is good. -
And it’s a broad-banded son. The antennas are tilted forward now about 20-degrees.
Road testing will have to wait till 34-over.Last edited: Mar 30, 2018

So, I’ve spent enough for the time being. This paycheck and few more.
Still have to send out the West Mountain Radio DSP Speaker for repair.
Will put together some form of rack for the rig. Make it easier to remove and transport. With the other electronics we all accumulate these days I’m thinking a foamlined cut-out case would be appropriate for moving in/out of truck and storage.
Finding the 99 was totally unexpected. Like a gift. And a nice step up in performance.
Robert builds his own antenna mounts. In stainless. I’ll look forward to something that can mount a heavy antenna. -
Just lokkin at that you still have issues with other stuff not just swr..

I would be worried that the metal will in time cut or ground out that coax there..
