2017 Freightliner Cascadia gets hot when in optimized idle mode.

    I have noticed recently on one of our trucks that when the truck is in optimized idle the temp gets to almost 250. Is there a setting in ddl for this for fan clutch. Anybody had this problem before? Truck is a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia with a dd13 engine and dt12 trans. We have the parksmart apu system.

    Is the fan coming on? Yes, the ECM is already programmed to engage the fan when temp is reached.

    If the fan is coming on, @QUALITYTRUCK has your answer

    Be very gentle with a pressure washer or you'll bend your fins
