Well, so far 2017 has sucked, BIG TIME.......5 day weeks seem to be in the $2,000-2400 range..........after deductions, in lucky to get $1,600........I miss 2014-2015.......

On the other hand, company drivers seem to be killing it.....$1,300-2,000 per week.....before Deductions.........

They flew me from CHI to Charleston, SC to help with some dedicated account with a surge.

Been pulling cans back and forth 3 miles each way all week! this port stuff is awesome!

Sitting in Charleston Airport now waiting for a flight home - weather back home looks pretty crappy...

What is the average time going in/out the port terminals that you experienced?

In my limited experience, that depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Trying to find an empty food grade container can be time consuming . Taking a loaded container into port , largely depends on how many trucks are ahead of you.

I was in with a load and out with an empty in less that 45 minutes each time.

This is Charleston - I understand that the congestion is further north NJ/Norfolk

Port of Baltimore is 1.5 to 3.5 hours to be in and out.
