2017 T680 interior lights driving me crazy

My lights come on when I open the doors, didn't know there was an option to have them off.

The biggest problem I have with T680's is a static shock when touching a light to turn it on. The first one I drove I touched the lamp over the work table to turn it on, ZAP, and every interior light in the truck came on. Took me a while to figure out how to get them all off. My new T680 I touched the same light over the work table a week after buying the truck, and zapped it again. This time the work table light is permanently on dim like a night light and won't do anything else. I also broke the cheap plastic handle on my fridge. Not sure if I want to waste a day having an entirely new fridge put in with the same cheap handle that will just break again. For now I open it with a screw driver.
