    I’m looking at new trucks. I thought I heard that isx15 got updated in 2017(engine being 2016).
    I can’t find no info about it.

    so did isx15 got updated on the 2017 trucks? I know 2013-2015 isx had problem with carbon packing etc. After treatment issues.
    Did they update in 2016 engines?
    And does x15 a better engine?

    Carbon packing issue was basically resolved by them adding an additional piston ring.

    Carbon packing and emissions issues are from excess idling.
