Could someone please tell me where the low voltage disconnect is on my 2018 Peterbilt 579?

Could someone also please tell me how to disconnect it? I know the implications of doing that and I have the resources to get started again if I ran the batteries down too low.

Thank you so much for your help, everyone.

    Last 6 of s/n

It can have a cecu controlled disconnect in which case you can turn it off with ESA.
It could also have a hardwired one that you can manually bypass

It has a cecu controlled LVD. Need to swing by the dealer or someone with ESA and they can tun it off.

So it has to be programmed out apparently.

Do you know where the CECU would be located on a 2018 579 by any chance?

I guess there's no other way to disable it from what you are saying?

    Thank you!

No there is no other way. It is a parameter inside the CECU. Cecu is located in the hotel at the lower kick panel between the two seats.

spsauerland, Edjahman and 062 Thank this.
