2018 Pete 579 cruise control issue

Im Having an issue with my 579. I have codes for adaptive cruise fault and abs wheel speed sensor, right rear, third axle(passenger side). I guess my question is, will a bad wheel speed sensor cause the adaptive cruise not to work? I’ve looked all over and can’t find any damaged or broken wires. No corrosion to speak of either. Not on the front radar or the wiring from the frame to the wheel. Thanks for any help
