2018 ucr registration delayed

UCR replaced the old single state registration system.

 

Yes, the official UCR site is hosted by the state of Indiana.

 

This is my first time dealing with UCR. Are the rates different per state? I saw someone comment they paid $69 for 2 trucks but when I look at our online form it shows $159 for 2.

 

Must be the extra charges through a 3rd party company. Looking at the link I was given and then what you just sent me... HUGE difference. I think I'm in the wrong industry.

So, to be a interstate carrier is it mandatory to have UCR registration? Where is UCR documentation or is it just pulled up online at weight stations? What's the moral of UCR because we already of IRP plates? Thats state and federal ...?

 

Yes you must register. What is the Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) system and how do I sign up? Here is the link for the information directly from the FMCSA. We do IRP and UCR registration. It is a pain but a necessary follow through.

 

Can I submit under my DOT portal or should I just third party it?
