I'll take some more later. I deliver to retail stores. There's one in Cookeville that's really bad. Same deal, through the parking lot and hope it's a perfect fit. Now I'm in Athens. Had to use diff. Lock to get up that hill. Every day is an adventure.![]()

800-1000 per week is peanuts to put up with that nonsense especially if you are gone from home. My home daily day cab milk hauling job, 8-10 hours per day is 1k-$1,300 per week. That's right I make more money driving a day cab being home everyday....and the most phyiscal thing I do is handle a light weight milk hose and get up on top of tankers.
Way less physical activity then hand unload 53 foot trailers worth of crap. I have to manuvure the trailers at the farms. Some farms require backing. Much easier then dealing with parking lots full of cars, dumpsters ECT ECT. I also have a day cab with a back window and great visibility. Much easier then dealing with a sleeper truck and 53 ft van.
You can have dg, I'm glad I didn't stick around Werner and put up with that nonsense for less then I make now. -

So......did the OP sue for false advertisement an move to an Island in the pacific somewhere?
I hate it when they just vanish with no update.
Like a tv show ending and fading to black and your left just guessing...oh wait..

Spending money not yet earned. -
I talked to a Werner driver over breakfast a few years back who had this DG gig . He bragged on making 750 dollars a week . I didn’t believe him though .. sounds like he’s exaggerating . Who makes that kind of money come on now
-
i think the op just won the lottery and ditched his 100k DG local gig. so sad but true
now he is literally home all day everyday, no work is needed.
but really want to know where he ended up working for and how disappointed he is to realize he wont be making 6 figuresLast edited: Sep 29, 2018

So basically you are going to make roughly $40/hour. Sounds good. If you believe this....
C'mon driver get real. There is a reason they offer this job to Green rookies right out of school. Nobody else wants to do it. Anyways I've said my peace -
I did the DG account back in 2006. I’ll stick with my tanker now, thanks. Triple the pay with 10% of the labor per week, home weekend.
