Hi guys I am in the same boat I want to replace my stock oem speaker and radio... But the weird wiring in the front door speakers are odd. Can we hook it all to one single connection? Rather than 2 separate like its done on the stock?
I want to fit in there the sony es160 ( 6.5inch ) and es6x8 for sleeper speakers... With the sony radio gs80
For the radio I am not sure if the steering wheel volume knobs would work if I do this...Attached Files:

Did everything work with the two pairs of wires all hooked together? And are the factory sleeper speakers 6x8 or 6x9?

I recently upgraded my speakers in my 2018 P4 cascadia 126, or new cascadia as some call it. There was a lot of trial and error involved and i hope to save any one considering changing their speakers a headache.
Stock door speakers are 6.5 inch and they have two harnesses attached to them. The blue one is for LDW and other truck sounds like blinkers and other beeps and buzzers. The black harness is for the stereo.
Cutting, stripping and combining both sets of wires together won’t get you any sound. If you only wire the stereo sound to the speaker you get the dreaded “speaker problem detected” as well as a “service Lane departure warning system soon” warnings. Tweeters won’t work for the blue harness either.
I ended up wiring a small 3.5 inch speaker to the blue harness and my upgraded stereo speaker to the black harness. This eliminated all warnings on the dash. I left the small speakers in the door. Blinkers, warnings and LDW sounds all work but they’re very faint, you can’t really hear them through the road noise.
The sleeper speakers are 6x9 and they’re pretty much plug and play.
I’ve include photos of the install and all the items I bought. Hope this helps!Attached Files:
