delivered a iso to heniff in joliet. he said his drivers start from there and end there too. but im worried its on of those tank jobs with low checks. didnt ask bout home time either now that i think of it

 

I have finally been moving. I only worked 2 days the week before last, but worked everyday last week. Was off 3 days for the holiday, worked today, and tomorrow. Theyve been sending me out to quad cities to pull these permit overweight scrap loads.

 

today i was off. tom im on. if i can get 3 days ill b somewhat happy this week

 

If you're looking to try something else, tankers are great and ISO work is a good start to get your feet wet. I made the switch and other then trying dumps, I love tanks.

My company is still slow with drivers only work about 2-3 days a week. Lucky I am not a driver, just do safety work. How is everyone else doing?

 

There can be. I'm not completely up to date on the current ISO rates, but try calling Altom or Heniff. Personally I'd stay away from Boasso or CBSL. Get some experience pulling ISO and then try and get on the domestic work, that's where the real money is.

 

Let me clarify something. The key is to decide if you like it, if you do buy a pump & compressor. It'll make you more valuable. There's no money in just moving them. Anyone can do that, just look at xpo or Kiswani or the 5 other companies doing it.
