What gears and trans do you have in it?
-
I would take any one of those. Ha Haducnut Thanks this.

i-shift for severe duty, 13 speed crawler, 3.58 ratio. It is the selling feature of the truck, is very good. Let down by engine reliability and low-level interior finishing (has Premier trim) compared to other truck make offerings.

Curious, what was your symptoms of a baad exhaust valve?
-
Rpm all over the place, loss of power, rough idle. Broke off when I was empty driving back to yard. There might have been an engine code, I can’t recall, this was in June. Service department seemed to know what it was and said ok to keep driving to get home and to the shop.

Do you often run RPM over 1400 with those gears? Seems to stop the emissions issues, cups and injectors you have to run around 1250-1350 max on these newer D13 Engines.BobO1176 Thanks this.

usually the most issues i see is in 500hp trucks, can never really point to why this is, whoever charged you $11000 for injector to me this is highway robbery. Max i could see from a dealer would be about $7500, either way. I have seen broken valves and I have see injectors failure but by far yours is the lowest mile one. it has nothing to really do with fuel being to dry although it doesn't help, they do last longer than old style volvo injectors. I have also seen my fair share of liner leaks mainly under warranty repair but definitely lower quality than previous years as far as build goes.
