2019 DD16 rough start

    I got a 2019 DD16 Western star.
    Been noticing some rough starting. coughing and shaking, truck seems to wanna stall out But once it’s start it runs & idles fine. Batteries are good.

    I did find that fuel low pressure side, the little filter with the ball for a check valve won’t hold the fuel in.
    I can’t seem to find anything on it. I’m wondering if the rough starting is due to the fuel leaking out of that low pressure filter housing back into the tanks.

    Sometimes injectors get old and the spray pattern suffers. So that fuel doesn't atomize well. Once it heats up it doesn't matter as much. The heat helps the fuel vaporize better.
