I have a 2022 peterbilt with front axle dana D2000F 20k fronts, I’m wondering if my steering is stiff because I have 20k fronts or bc something else? I greased the joints and power steering fluid level is all good, only 98k miles on the truck
I’m sure it’s some thing with your steering gear box. It might need to be adjusted. I’m sure your warranty will cover that. Or you might be getting air pockets in the steering gear box.
Im having the same issue. Truck wanders. Whole front end is new. Ive rebuilt everything. I do have a knock in the shaft somewhere. The visible u joints are good. I can hear and feel it in the cab. If you have a extendable and telescoping steering wheel, there is another u joint under the column in the cab. Ill be digging into that and trying the lock to lock method as previously mentioned
