2019 Western Star 5700XE mirror marker light replacement

They changed the style with 2020 model year. No more plugs.

 

For what it's worth, my 2018 5700 xe has two Phillips screws that are on the chrome (back or opposite side of the mirrors facing driver) of the mirror (not the two directly attached to the courtsy light) that allowed me to take my chrome back cover off. I did not have to remove any mirrors.
5 min and bulb is replaced. (194 peanut bulb by the way)
Just be careful rethreading the screws as it would be easy to cross thread.

 

Yup, four years later I'm not ashamed to bring this post back up lol thank you sir! Great information as my local dealer said they had to do it.. well the hell with that.. wired in new LED replacements instead. Previous owner used some scrap wire and self tappers to fasten one of the lives back in. Smh..
