Anyone know how to adjust headlamps on a 2022 Volvo? The left side low beam is aiming lower than the right. Makes for driving challenges in turns at night. I checked the owner's manual and see no information on making adjustments.

Everything I've seen so far on YouTube or online is outdated. I'm posting 3 photos if this helps. 20250622_055330.jpg 20250622_055314.jpg

The nut inside the yellow square may be the vertical adjustment. If so, clockwise raises the beam and counterclockwise lowers it. The one inside the circle may be the left/right adjustment. I read that some of the newer Volvos are adjusted electronically. Adjustment should be made with the truck unloaded and 10-25 feet from a wall or door.

Thanks for your input. I was wondering about that. Is there a tool on the market made specifically for that adjustment?
I've heard about how some of the newer model trucks do the adjusting from inside the cab. I don't know what models you find this on. Mine is a 22. I didn't see anything in the owner's manual.

I can't tell from the pic if that is a threaded stud with a nut that has the square around it. If so a socket and ratchet should do it. Just turn lightly so you don't break anything. I would also count (1/2 turn of the end of the ratchet etc.) how far you turn it so where you know where you started. The video is from 2015 but should give you an idea how it's done.
I doubt yours has the electronic adjustment as it probably would not have the manual adjusting nuts.

    Thanks for your input.
After further research I learned that the black nut you pointed to does nothing. But the long skinny screw sticking out of it is the adjuster itself. It requires what is known as an E-Torx or inverted torx socket. A # 6 E-Torx socket to be exact. (link below)I have never heard of an inverted Torx. Once I bought the small inverted torx socket set, making the adjustment was a snap.
