    Hi! I'm the Honeybadger! Now that we've met, I can attest that I have indeed been approached by law enforcement in the NE and told to shut my truck off or risk a ticket.

    Clean idle or not, you can still get a ticket for idling where prohibited. I watched a hazmat officer try to give the guy next to me a ticket at the TA in Columbia, nj. He pulled up next to my trailer and started taking pictures, I asked him what he was doing and he said Enforcing the idle laws. He drove away when I woke the driver up and told him what was going on. This was a very obviously brand new truck with clean idle Stickers.

    That California Clean Idle sticker will supposedly allow you to idle in California. But that doesn't mean other states recognize it an many do not. I can't find it right now, but there was an article in Landline Mag about this a couple years ago. Guys were getting idling tickets even though they had the sticker.
