Sup. Just posting some photos of my current project. Converting a 367 triaxle dump from a 12k lb axle to a 20k lb axle.
Replaced driver side steering box
Added passenger side steering box
Replaced spring hangers
New threaded bushings and pins
New shocks
Added 3 leaf springs
New u bolts
Pictures are work in progress.
Should be ready to slide the axle in tomorrow

Is that an old slumberger truck? I have a 365 over the road truck that was converted to a dump truck. How do I tell what size axle is under front? Only has the 3 leaf springs now but squats bad enough where the tires tip in

It’s an old BJ Energy truck. On the front or back of your axle there should be some numbers in the casting or a tag. (i.e. D2000F or E120X)

Did you upgrade the ps pump too? Likely going to be hard steering if not due to low flow and having a second box.

In my experience... About the only difference from a standard 12k steer and a 20k steer is the number of leaves in suspension and the tag on the axle. Sometimes the 20k has larger king pins, but not generally.
