System is still working like a champ but the mini split compressor has gotten a little more noisy. Not scary noises, not dying in pain noises. I can just hear it cycle with a very low rumble for a minute when it starts up. Hopefully just vibrating a little.

What is your take on Chins? Beside price what was deciding factor to choose them? I'm not familiar with lithium batteries but from what I can see some go as high as $ 1000 for 100Ah. Thanks!

I have mini split over 7 years. No rust on Ac except bracket painted redneck style. Using Spit System for heating not really smart idea. It will consume lot of energy from the batteries. And batteries life is measured in discharge/charge cycles.
Check battery -inverter wires connection. They have tendency to lose from vibration and cause inverter to struggle on high current during the AC start.

The building itself was about $65k installed. I've got about double that in the whole project from excavation to turn key.

Thanks, it's been a dream of mine for a lot of years to have a building big enough for my camper and truck. My shop burnt down at my old house late last year and that pushed us over the edge to sell that house and buy some acreage where we hope to retire.

ducnut, Siinman and FullMetalJacket Thank this.
