I wonder what concrete ediface they were able to pour for a bunch of money supported by one post office and 6 houses worth of property tax?

Appreciate the update. Ive been reseearching the area and found that large amounts have been replaced in many ways. My father used to take us to visit a small rail crossing that was active when he was a boy but when 695 was graded, contracted and built that rail line and it's associated economy which supported several daily locals was severed forever post war world two. The trucking on the interstate could carry just about all the railroads did in the day. and then some.

I also remember a number of other bridges, usually a pratt or Iron pipe construction that would carry our Datsun until they experienced enough metal fatique in it's 100 year or more span to where it has to be banned to vehicles forever. Loch Raven has a beautiful one still there it's a people crossing now. You could not impose too much weight on that thing anymore.

Im glad they replaced that bridge in Boring. It was not much of a bridge in a situation where it has to carry heavy trucks several times a day.
