    hello everyone is it possible that me can only pay only 6 months of road taxes ? I am in california my truck is 2009 in December the state kicks me out with this truck I do not want to pay the total of $ 550 if I will not use it until June 2023 nor will they give me registration for 2023 can be done ?

    I believe you can get a refund if u dont over 10k milea from the previous year. But dont quote me on that. Me personally the last people u wanna short change is the irs .

    You pay the $550 that’s due now and then you can suspend the vehicle when the time comes. You’ll fill out another form to suspend it and wait for the IRS to mail you a check.

    well I don't know if I'm wrong but? I tell you that I already buy another truck this I will start using in January 2023 you know this has DEF with this if I can only pay until June, now it is out of service
