I had to replace one of my drive 24's. Guy offered to switch them all to 22.5's and pay me. Said he can't find 24.5's. Theres a shortage right now!

I just bought 8 drives. I did find almost all the shops l called for pricing had to order them in. They were available at their warehouse for next day delivery. Just less tire shops carrying them in stock it seems like. This is in southern Ont. I do keep a spare for what its worth.

22.5's are not tires. The good old 24.5's will be around a long time.

I went with Continental hdl2 line haul tires, centramatic balancers on all six and a three axle alignment, made for a beautiful ride.

I can believe at chain places that cater to otr guys it might be, but all the loggers and guys that are running off road want them for better ground clearance. They about wouldn't buy a truck with 22.5's. I doubt they'd ever quit making them some places maybe don't sell them though.
