25 Year old cobra ltd classic

    I was gifted a Cobra 25 LTD Classic by my uncle and have had it in storage for 25 years or so.
    I believe it has upper and lower channels. He was really into CB'S and was quite proud of this radio. It is like new in the original box. All the original paper work is in the box. Just wondering if this is something special or just a 25 year old CB? Any feed back on this will be appreciated. thanks..

    Upper and lower channels on a Cobra? Must’ve been tinkered with. Not necessarily a bad or good thing, but it sure isn’t virgin from the factory like that. IMHO, if it works it works, if not it doesn’t. Mostly I’d check for soldered joints that gave. Happened to one of my cobras from 1998.

    I'd put some 12vdc juice to that Classic along with a good antenna and see if she still communicates.

    The proof is in the talking.
