    The 290 will probably turn a little nicer in tight spots, be about the only difference I think.

    I have a 242" wb and some of the places I go to in LA are tight.
    Wouldn't even think about any longer wb.

    To be honest I have 2009 kw t660 and 1999 kw w900 , w900 rides so much better ...sorry it's bit off topic ...footba fo field required as someone mentioned :)

    The 300" wb truck will be around 600 pounds heavier as it will have a frame insert in it. Peterbilt put that in when ever the wb gets over 290" on newer tractors.

    Gotta know what you're going to do with it first, see if you'll be able to go much longer and not run #### over.

    Just be sure to back off the steering stops as far as you can without rubbing a steer tire on anything.
