Good morning everyone,
I hope that everyone is off to a great 2024 after the holidays and storms. I have a quick question for anyone that has driven I-295 in New Jersey. When I was driving and living in New Jersey I used to stop at an independent Mom & Pop truck stop at exit 7 on I-295. It was a quaint old world diner with fuel pumps and parking and I'm sure showers because it had an upstairs that I never visited.
I believe it closed in the early 2000's and was listed for sale but never sold and there was a you tube video posted about it being abandoned and vacant. I was just wondering if anyone had visited here and if it was still standing. If you were travelling north and looked up the ramp you could see the signs and fuel pumps too. I remember and know that the pilot, Flying J, Deepwater and another independent are still open at exit 2 and the TA at exit 18 is still operating. Just thinking about the old days. Thanks drivers.
