"But Six, how was I supposed to know it wouldn't fit?"
G.O.A.L.BiH Thanks this. -
First thing you need to learn in trucking is that any damage done to your trucks front was caused by an animal. Sometimes those deer look like signs or curbs but as far as safety is concerned, it was an animal.
The motel would not have turned you in if you would have offered to pay for it as they don't want to lose your business. They understand accidents happen.
Safety departments are there to fire you. They have their job and we have ours. No matter what they say, they are the enemy. Accidents happen. Learn from them. But do not report everything if you can avoid it. Remember the old riddle, if a tree is struck in a forest and no one saw me do it, why make a sound.bottomdumpin, Moosetek13 and Doing_flatbed_nc Thank this. -
Praying for anything for yourself is a head shot. Don't you understand what scripture says and means?
You can't use 'Sweet Jesus' to get you out of a mess that you created.
And I would bet that calling Him sweet would only upset Him.
He is NOT sweet.
He referred to His own mother as 'woman' when He was upset at her (to her face), like she was nothing more than dung on the ground. He chastised many and has been violent.
He is the embodiment of God the Father.
As such, He is totally logical and steadfast in His resolve.
There is no 'sweet' involved. There is no mister nice guy, or mister bad guy.
He is what He is, plain and simple.
Asking for help from God, when God already knows what has already happened?
Because what you are asking has already happened for God.
Already happened, has happened again before, is happening now and will happen again.
And the outcome is always the same.
The outcome?
Judging from scripture I would say that 1/2 of the population of this world would make it to 'heaven'.
From there 1/3 of those will be thrown back down as the 'fallen angels' when they rebel.
That leaves 1/3 of the original population (of this world) in heaven to aspire on to the next level.
If the pattern holds true for a very many cycles, there will only be 1 at the very end of things.
I could be wrong, of course.
God may have actually figured out a way to make Itself even more, by evolving into more than All.TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this. -
