    You might want to call the state's attorney in that county and see if they can reduce the charges. It's pretty standard where I'm from. Bring cash. My son's improper backing ticket was completely forgotten for $400, a court appearance, and supervision for 90 days.

    Red light cameras are not a moving violation so it won't get you points but you should fight it regardless. You really need to anticipate the lights, especially the stale green ones. if the pedestrian one is on it's always a good indicator because once it's flashing it'll turn yellow soon or sometimes they even have the numbers that count down for you.

    In some areas, red light cameras are actually operated by 3rd party companies, and they really have no legal standing. In Denver for instance, you do not actually have to pay the ticket and there is no ding to your DMV record. Do your research and you'll probably get it taken care of easily.

    Thank you Duckdiver I'm definitively fighting it if it ever comes and I'm always careful with green lights thinking they're gonna change as soon as I get there. The thing with this light is that is in the middle of no where, literally. No pedestrians no a lot of traffic crossing that highway and at 1am I was the only one in that crossing. I waited for like 2 minutes for the green light and when it changed only stayed green for 2 seconds.
    Thank you Reroll I hope it works the same way down here in Delaware.
