^^^^^ MUCH better post~! Print that list, and WORK IT.... TOMORROW. Something will come to light. I understand about the insurance companies, but many companies like the 3 I listed have obviously different carriers than SNI or even Swift.

    Perseverence, man!

    Keep us posted, bro~

ps: maybe this little 'hiccup' will make you more determined to protect your licensure better from here on out :) life gives us needed lessons, at times. Trust me, I know.

Ha, I was at a company who trained me west coast in an automatic. When I was released on my own they put me on the east coast in a manual, add to that I had a trainer who told me I looked at my mirrors too much. (I never knew that would be an issue). I had a hell of a time being out there solo, I was driving like I learned on the west.. that didn't work, I had stopped watching my trailer and the roads were tighter. In one week, the back end of the trailer swiped 2 telephone poles, I got stuck on a boulder, and got stuck on those #### yellow poles at Walmart. Out on the road I was good, I'm not perfect. I worry about every one else's safety, not just my own. I just had issues making those turns. I had to deal with my own setbacks in pleading guilty for tickets, I didn't understand what I was pleading to. The so called first job didn't get me home for court in time, and I had a warrant out for my arrest, I was trying to get that taken care of. In the meantime I plead guilty to improper lane change, failure to notify property owner of property damage. The court gave me a sentence treating me like a hard core criminal when it was just traffic tickets, or so I thought. Failure to notify cost me my license for 1 yr, because of what I had to go through monthly, my anger go to be too much one day. I asked to go back in front of the judge (who didn't let me tell my story the 1st time) it was the same judge; this time I got to talk, he reversed the ticket that made me lose my license. I plead guilty to improper turn, which it's marked on the ticket it wasn't in a CMV.
Overall, I have one ticket from 2014, and 0 CSA. It sucked what I went through, if I had proper training I believe it could of been avoided. I have been back out on the road for 2 years, thankful that the gods above saw it for what it was. Does / did that make me unsafe, I'm sure you would think so. While every one else is out there texting, driving with their feet, etc, I'm the one over here who is paying attention to what's going on around me, who is slowing down because I do see that officer all the way up there with the lights flashing, I am slowing down if a truck is trying to pass me and I know he's faster I'll slow down. The point is im aware. I watch my mirrors a whole hell of a lot more then when I first started. I went through hell the first 6 months, I don't want to relive that again!!

I hear ya Heather. While my short time driving a big rig hasn't been perfect, it's been quite the eye opener now that I'm looking for work again. I wasn't terminated from my last gig and in retrospect, shoulda stayed there. I put myself in this position, nobody else.

I have been contacted by a company in Kansas (grain hauling) and it sounds hopeful. Supposedly, the owner has the ability to tell the insurance guy that he wants someone to drive for him and it's not questioned. Was told I can speak with the owner personally, give him my background/story and see what happens. I really need some good luck this week.

I just find it absolutely asinine that you can't get hired with only 7 points on your PSP. I mean he'll I had 6 and was hired by 3 companies. Twice by the same place.

Gotta have faith! I hope it works out, and that you really have had an eye opener!! I asked to see the judge cuz I was pissed off with the sentence, I hadn't expected him to reverse the ticket. If he had let me explain my first appearance, it might of not happened that way. Everything happens for a reason tho. I know there was more with that company that happened, the things that saved me...private property. They did let me go for safety reasons, I just throw it back on them, with the fact a male trainer couldnt take no for an answer, & they never got me home, not for drs appts or just me time. 2 days I was home in 4 months, little extreme for a newbie. It was all a learning lesson, every day is new learning. I can't help but to get sick to my stomach every time I see their trucks, it seriously was 6 months of hell!!

I hear ya. I quit Werner due to crappy trainers and my total intolerance of being treated like crap.

Update: Just got off the phone with JB Hunt. They had a spot they wanted to stick me in, but needed to have my hazmat. I told them I have zero money, but if they could give me a definite 'yes' that they are going to hire me, Id find a way to get it done. He said he couldn't do that, but did provide me with a spot that could be available should I want to travel to Orland from the Tampa Bay area. I said yes. They are checking now to see if I can be hired and will be calling back by tomorrow he said. There's also that grain opportunity I spoke of earlier.

It takes a special mindset to operate these trucks safely. Patience is essential
When backing, I do not care how long it takes. I've even been on known to give up and circle around for a better set up. If keeping plenty of following distance means losing 3 mph over the course of a day, so be it.

Ohhh I've gone back and set up better, it what has to be done, sometimes.. I feel the same way about losing that whole 3 mph 30-60 seconds out of my day.. cuz it matters, people so quick to judge a trucker, yet the don't practice what they preach.. I can only control my actions,.. I tend to not have the patience for stupid anymore by the time i am heading home for home time. Keep em on all wheels!!

How much experience do you have now?? It sounds like you learned from your rookie mistakes. I had a few as well.
