Whats the distance from the center of the front axle to the center of the rear axle? What kind if tractor? Whats the spread on the axles of the tractor? The spread from the steer to the last trailer axle? What state are you in? What kinda roads are you running?

In ny, no spread on the axles, usually see it behind a daycab or sleeper for a steelhaul company around here. They also run 6 axle sleds to mich, and a couple 3 axle spreads too. This particular trailer, iirc, is on the cover of the nys coil endorsement handbook. Anyone around this area will know the company.

I was imagining that you could haul more weight than a spread axle, but i dont know. I know the same carrier has heavy haul permits because i see their 6 axle trailers out by rochester.
