In which region? Tridem loads vary from state to state and differ provincially in Canada. They are also dependent on the size of the spread (i.e. an 8 ft spread tridem is only 41,500 in a state like MN or IL, but 43,500 for a 10 foot spread).
3 axle 40 ft trailer?

New York doesn't make this easy to understand, lol.
I think it says 36,000 lbs maximum for any two consecutive axles and you are likely looking at 38,000 maximum on a tri with a 12' spread.
Manitoba is 50,700 on most common tridem spreads. Ontario is 52,900 on most common spreads. If you always load to Manitoba weights (gross is the same) you should have no issues.
I'm not up on my specific bridge laws, so I don't know what the shorter trailer might do to change these things, but it won't be by much.already gone Thanks this. -

I think l know the company too. Ny has very complicated weight rules when it comes to permits. Makes ont and michigan look easy. Probably permitted to 107. They take truck axle weight into consideration too. Meaning you might have to have actual 46000 lbs rear ends to get full weight.

Staub trucking. Always see it with brick, but it seems like they have it for steel but i never see coils on it.

6 axles is good for 105k/107k. 7 axles gets you 117k/120k depending on region. Just look at the dump trailers/walking floors that stay in state. NYS doesn't care about the commodity.
