Can you Show a cop something that happened a few minutes prior without going to the the PC software?

Can you edit to delete say 9 hrs 45 minutes of footage and keep only the 15 minutes of video relevant to the accident in a format that can be emailed and viewed on other PCs like in court or by a lawyer?

It creates regular video files you can play on any PC, they are 7-9 minutes per file so you can email, delete or edit them. You can play back from the monitor. The extra feature of using the software on the PC is to see all the cameras play back in sync plus a map showing the truck location.

They need to be level, but they have different mounts to match your truck. If you call Diesel Boss they will send you pics of your truck model with mounting options to decide how to do it.

You can click Rewind / Slow / Fast-forward / Play / Stop etc like a DVD movie. So you can bring up a video time on the monitor to show an officer without a computer.

You would not want to "delete 9 hrs 45 minutes" and keep 15. You would want to "backup the 15" to a USB stick. Put the stick in the port in the front and choose thee time to back up to it. Or if yo want all of the deluxe bells and whistles, plug the hard drive into a Windows computer and use the viewer app.

It will be in MP4 format so that is a universal video file that can be played on any device with a player app. Whether or not you can email that file depends on the file limit of your email provider. Like, Gmail has a 20 Meg limit for example. If you want to send a very large file, just use a free DropBox, One Drive, or Google Drive account, and give the other party a link instead of trying to email a giant file.
