They have more than eight trucks according to the records they have 25 trucks… And frankly, as far as I’m concerned to proved otherwise I’m gonna go on the belief that a lot of these companies are running shadow operations on phony addresses as too many have been proven to be that

I would argue that the Trump administration exacerbated the problem. First by slashing FCMSA's budget and ending on site compliance reviews. Secondly by introducing ELDT, which is a cash grab that does nothing to ensure the competency of new drivers.

But it's not a new problem, and it's not a problem limited to immigrants - legal or otherwise. The industry has a training and supervision problem. It's too easy to get a CDL, too easy to lease a truck, too easy to get an authority - and far too easy to create corporate structures that insulate stakeholders from the consequences of their decisions. If we want change to occur quickly, just make malfeseance automatically pierce the corporate veil. If the CDL mills and instructors knew they could be held personally liable for the actions of the people they passed they'd be a little more discerning. If companies knew that any illegal action would put their personal assets at risk they'd suddenly become very risk adverse.

SaferSys shows 8 trucks, but I notice the MCS-150 was updated the day of the wreck. Which means their other trucks are all on new authority by now. That’s why I laugh whenever someone says “that company is toast” when there’s a wreck.

I believe new regulations need to be put into effect regarding this industry… If you’re going to open up an operating authority, these requirements have to be met………
    US citizen

Have a physical address in this country with multiple pieces of documentation to show that address

no more overseas operation as far as running a trucking company in this country if you do not have a physical location with office staff in this country

And who is going to enforce this new regulation and what sort of budget will be required?

It was decided in 1980 that we didn’t need all that. People complained it was too difficult to start a trucking company so here we are. Can’t put the genie back in the bottle.

Where do you start? It’s $300 to get authority. So you raise the price. What about people who are sitting on multiple authorities because they know they will need them? You say no more foreign owned companies. Ok, but what about all the ones currently operating?

As long as it’s up to the companies to be compliant and new entrant audits are done electronically nothing will change. And I doubt that anyone would want their taxes to go up in order to hire the workforce required to do everything in person.

Nothing will change. Just like when there is a shooting somewhere we get politicians and citizens calling for a change then once it all cools down they all go silent until the next one happens and it’s the same stuff all over again. Whatever happened to the guy that killed the entire family in TX a while ago everyone was up in arms for a week or two then nothing.

Kyle G. and thatsright Thank this.

He’s in ICE custody so you won’t see it.

You can try the prison in Brevard maybe they are housing him there. May want to look and see if he’s had a probable cause hearing yet..

He may be on this bus I saw heading out of Fort Pierce today.

Since I’m the safety manager at my company I’ll spank my bottom red tonight for taking a picture.. I only did it specifically for you, lol
