I got back late last night. The doc I saw was another DOT doc. He said I technically did not fracture the rib what I did was tear the rib away from the cartilage which is just as painful.

He's got me taking Hydrocodone, steroids, and muscle relaxers to ease the pain and has me off until Tuesday. After that I've got to go back and get a clearance that the company will be happy with. I will still be on the steroids and the muscle relaxers while I'm back on the road but he says the ones he gave me are ok to drive with. I will take my last dose of pain meds Monday night so I have over 12 hours for it to clear my system. Right now I'm taking 1 pill every 3 hours. I can't wait to get back to work. I'm already bored of the bed rest.

Thank you. Yes, thankfully we do. I think it's the same thing. It's either $15 or $18 per hour after 2 hours. Still hate the waiting. I'm thinking the tv will make it less painful to wait since I get bored so easily.
