You and me both, I even edge you a bit, and had 34 on the weekend at home.
Another company if I stayed out it was about $.70.
Just a humble dry box.

I know that each individual is different but I was on a regional dedicated fleet that pays on loads less then most OTR on a regional local basis.
I created this to show that if you look at what I did you can make it as a lease operator in prime.DRAGON64, darthanubis and 123456 Thank this. -
Gratz dude, but your in the PRIME forums. This is ment for PRIME lease operators.darthanubis Thanks this.

Way to go, Haywire. I think. 3 years and your lease is completed, but you have 2 years of payments left? I guess I'm not familiar with all the leasing details. 2 more years at $.38/mile net? That is rough.

Congrats on your sticktoitiveness, 3 years is a long time!
When I determined to become an O/O the way I approached it was to calculate what my operating expenses would be on an average year, add in paying myself a decent salary, plus per diem. Include basic benefits, i.e., health insurance & 401k contribution. After adding those numbers, if I couldn't make at least an additional 10% mark-up on the total annual revenue, it wasn't worth it to me.
So far, so good...darthanubis Thanks this. -

It's funny how personal income taxes and health
Insurance are never mentioned or deducted by
Leases operators.
It's like these 2 major things don't exist to them.TequilaSunrise and darthanubis Thank this.
