    Unfortunately this is trucking legality thinks. They would rather you not switch lanes and head on with people and possibly kill them for you to not be legally responsible. But if you swerved out your lane with a 18 wheeler cause you care about people, it's your fault. Trust me it's screwed up.

    When a semi goes on a field trip, it will level a house. Rupture the tanks and you have a huge hazmat cleanup $$$$$$$$$$$. And that's actually the way that I've seen most drivers die. See, your natural instinct is to cut the wheel. People in cars will cut their wheels for a puppy running out into the road. It's a reflex. Same as slamming on the brake pedal but deadlier. You have to UNLEARN this. Why?

    Because you will have a million cars cut you off, a million 4 legged critters crossing the road at night. And there are a billion Darwins in the world. Under no circumstances do you ever cut your wheel.

    you have an at fault accident or a loss of control. Might not make sense, but that's how safety reads it.
