I’ve been doing OMAD since 01-09-21 I’m down 84.5 pounds so far. You can do it no problem you will have way more energy by the second week. It’s an amazing lifestyle change.
Meat Fish Eggs Nuts No carbs and no sugar. 1 pound a day is totally doable once your body starts burning fat for energy.
You need to make your 30k than take a couple months off and invest in yourself both mentally and physically. The return you see on yourself will be worth way more than monetary gain . Whats the use of money if it takes 10 to 20 yrs off your life working for it , I have worked less this year than any other year but still made some good money and life is good . Good luck
Been doing this exactly. Every night i park i walk/run for 3-4 miles. Eat 3-4 times a day and drink plenty of water works magic. Lost over 40lbs in less than 2 months. Starting is the hardest but once you get rolling the weight will start coming down. walking/runing also works miracles esp for us drivers that sit all day..
Dude...... I mean, really, dude....... Just listen to what @Long FLD said. Fish, eggs, nuts meat, veggies. Modest fruit. Drink herbal tea, water, minimal caffeine. You'll feel like you're 20 years younger (and on your way to looking that way, too). carbs are the devil
I dont want to feel 20 years younger because that would make me 6 years old ... Id like to know where to find nuts meat fish eggs veggies and fruit at the truckstops ? I must of missed that section. Also how do u keep this stuff fresh with no fridge?
Every C store has nuts of some sort and beef jerky. Chicken tenders from the hot case. Sausages from the Town Pump hot case. Get a burger or chicken sandwich from a fast food joint and either toss the bun or tell them no bun when you order. I’m not hardcore enough to not have any dairy at all so I’ll get the cheese sticks with salami wrapped around them. Loves has packages of ham now, at least some of them do.
Because if you don't want to have a stroke in the sleeper, the best foods to load up on are really high in saturated fats and cholesterol...
Didnt expect to get this many responses so quickly on this one. Thanks for the feedback and encouragement. Day 2 Woke up at 0320 to get started today. My OMAD was a turkey sandwich with mustard and pickles with a handful of tortilla chips. Made a little Caesar salad with some honey smoked salmon to go with it. Pretty good meal, probably around 800 calories or so. I'm going to be shooting for a 1200/day average so I'm a little low today but feel pretty good. No problems with the truck after its first full day back to work with a new def quality sensor. Looking to put up about 700 miles today and around 650-700 tomorrow. Should leave me with about 600 miles on the last day which is perfect because I don't go over 59 or 60 when going through California.
