Unless someone can prove me wrong, as of 11:59pm June 17, 2025 the 30 minute break exemption has expired for permitted loads. This rule was passed in 2015 and extended another 5 years in 2020.

Wrote me up on an inspection even when I showed him the FMCSA website and the paper copy I carry. He said since he had never heard of it he didnt believe me. Company was able to fight it and have it removed.singlescrewshaker, beastr123, CAXPT and 4 others Thank this. -
