The aims seems pretty well liked too and I can get one at Home Depot where I’m a preferred member. That goes along way with returns and warranties. Would you buy another aims or go a different route next time?

I've had it for two years and have had no problems, so yes, I probably would buy it again. I would need a reason to buy something else.
I run a computer, a flat screen, a coffee pot, a microwave, and sometimes a vacuum on it.
The microwave is only 700 watts. -
Can you run them all at the same time? What gauge wire did you use? Preciate all the help by the way.
-
Better off with a circuit breaker then fuse, the 2 awg welding cable should work perfect
-
I can, but keep in mind I have an APU. It starts immediately when I run the microwave or the coffee pot.
I used 4/0 cables from the battery. I plug the computer into the outlet on the inverter. I used twelve gauge three wire from the inverter to a 4-way outlet on the other side of the sleeper where I plug in everything else. -
Nice. Thank you.
-
What circuit breaker would you recommend? I started out in that direction, but every one I looked at seemed really cheap.

Pretty sure I got my 300 amps off Amazon, one to the inverter and one for the tarp on my dump trailer, don’t remember the actual brand

I use the old model of this one Power Inverter, Pure Sine Wave Inverter, Marine Inverter, PROsine they have been consistantly pretty reliable and are small enough to hide in most places. They are also resistant to shocks and damp so tend to last a lot longer. Only major problem with them ive found is they tend to short out if you try to pull to much power i.e a microwave alongside a hotplate.

I can't speak for anyone else's preferences, but a big selling point for me on the Aims is that it's made in the US. Nevada if I remember correctly. The Cobra is a Chinese product.
