Peterbilt 3406 a Cat fuel mileage?

    Looking at a 359 Pete with an A model cat in it. Direct injection and air to water. I’ve never dealt with the a models only the b&c so was wondering what to expect on reliability and fuel mileage and availability of parts. Any opinions would be appreciated

    Fuel mileage is gonna suck .. if its a late model A there a 50/50 chance of getting alittle extra power.. but it's still not gonna be a B model
    This 359 you looking at wouldn't happen to be in IL and black in color and a 1981 would it ?

    No not a black one but it is in Illinois I haven’t seen that one yet
