Yep, unfortunately the rebuild didn't care the blow by issues, and after having the covers off a few times I can only think that the valve guides are worn so bad that it is exhaust bypassing the valve stem.

It runs well, but she needs some more tweaks to keep up with my 855, the monster I built there makes 54psi on a single HT4, that's reaching the limits of those turbos.bigguns Thanks this.

@SmokinCAT this what bad valve guides did to my engine. See that nice little notch? 8 bad guides in the head I had rob do the fire ring cut on. It would slobber oil real bad at idle after warmed up. Another thing to look at, the valve bridges. If you don't have the ones that have the adjusting jam nut, get new ones if there is alot of miles on them.

I think that because of the different valve positioning that the B may not get that close to the liner. I did have some marks like that in my 855 liners that were not fresh, Im gonna guess that they are from quite some time ago.
This is what leads me to believe that is what is going on.
SAR Thanks this. -
Yep, carbon debri. Had some of that on the inside of my valve covers. The one valve that rubbed the liner, after I dropped the spring keepers and removed 5 he valves I could wiggle the valve 1/4 of an inch!!!KB3MMX Thanks this.
