Parts, parts? did someone say parts? :biggrin_25517: Bigest problem might be getting it across the border.

Do you know a better turbo to go with? I'm looking at going with the 10R-0959 injectors and the 130-9710 cam

Is a OR-7223 a better turbo to use then the OR-7204?

am gonna be placed in a 475hp 6nz which am gonna put a 55hp ecm on it wit maybe 5232 codes will the stock turbo handle the ride? also at the side where the fts and fls are it says intercept and slope is this of significance?

0R7223 is a 550hp turbo from a 1LW prefix engine, I think I would go with something bigger like a C-16 turbo (0R7924) or a C-18 turbo (0R9968) which is rated at 700hp from factory also I have read on other sites that the 0R6051 turbo which is from a B motor will handle big power. both the 0R9968 and 0R6051 are non wastegated. The bigger the turbo the more turbo lag you will have but the lower egts will be, its a bit of a balancing act really, the aim is to have the smallest turbo you can get away with to keep egts within acceptable limits, this will give minimum turbo lag.

I thought the OR-7204 was for a 7CZ 600hp. will the OR996 be driveable with that turbo?

The OR7204 is for a 5EK prefix so it could be for a 550 but not 600. That should have read 0R9968, not sure on the drivability as I have never tried one on a C-15.

Did you ever find out the differences between the 57, 58 and 59 injectors? Any Idea of what size the nozzle on the 59 is compared to the 57? hole sizes, number of holes?

The 59's flow a lot more fuel than the 57's.......You need a much bigger turbo to run these injectors in anything. A CAT turbo off any 3406E,C-15/C-16 isn't big enough........the turbo off the C-18 700 hp engine could be close though

and yes, I know the flow number of these injector, but that's staying secret...........take my word on the difference and turbo sizing

Nobody in my area has the 59 injectors so I wanted to know the size of them so they can build them for me possibly out of my 57's.

I was worried about the C-18 turbo being too big but if its not then I'd consider getting it for sure

If I understand correctly, that is a marine cam. If that's the case the torque peak should be up around 1800 RPM rather than the 1200 we are used to dealing with. Not sure I'd want to go back to the 1800 - 2100 RPM days.
